Through training workshop, participants gained the necessary knowledge, skills, and resources to start their own businesses.”

The project addressed the specific challenges faced by women, such as social and economic barriers, by providing them with a sustainable income-generating activity. By combining entrepreneurship training with practical production skills, JIKWAMUE empowered women to achieve financial independence and improve their overall well-being.

While the project faced challenges like accessing raw materials and market competition, it also demonstrated the importance of needs assessments, ongoing mentorship, and partnerships for project success. CORAF plans to build on this success by providing continued support, expanding market access, and monitoring the project's long-term impact.
